In Memory of Coach John Wooden, we’ve setup a Memory Wall for family, friends, and fans to share personal memories and/or simply give their best wishes. So, drop by and share yours with others.

The concept direction I took for this was that of a soft, heavenly, legendary and historical feel.

Toms Shoes

Posted by bmckamey on April 13th, 2009   Advertising, Inspiration, UnCommon News

Our team would like to give a shout out to Blake Mycoskie and his company Toms Shoes. We’ve worked with Blake in the past on several projects, and for the last three years he’s been spending his time starting a company founded in Argentina that for each pair of shoes sold, they give a pair to a needy child.

Yesterday during the Masters, AT&T aired a national commercial featuring Blake and Toms Shoes that you can check out here. Congrats Blake!

This Woman Needs Our Help

Posted by bmckamey on March 20th, 2009   Inspiration

In today’s time of financial hardship, our hearts were touched when we learned the plight of this woman in an article in USA Today, who says she has no income and is going through a divorce. Her post-nup is only going give her $43 million, but luckily she’s going to court to get the amount she really needs to live on – $100 million and $130K per month in alimony

We all know how tough it can be to live on $53K per week in these tough times. For sure we can all relate to some of this woman’s weekly expenses: $700 for limousine service, $4,500 for clothes, $1,000 for hair and skin treatments, $1,500 for restaurants and entertainment, and $8,000 for travel.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers….
