UT began its relationship with auto racing legend Mario Andretti in 2006 with the design and development of his official website. Mario and his team werel looking for a showcase of his past accomplishments, but also an outlet to showcase what he was doing currently.

Features of the version one site included:

- Full Flash experience with uniquely designed sections worthy of Mario's accomplishments throughout the site.

- Detailed content plan: Biography, Racing Record, News, Businesses, Photo Album, Store, Contact

- Music player featuring Mario's favorite opera selections.

- Consistent design theme carried through to Mario's social media channels.
