Had a chance to visit Augustana College in Rock Island, IL to be a guest lecturer for Mrs. Peterson’s BUSN 321-02 Marketing class to touch on interactive marketing and specifically topics in Social Media. Covered stats in SM, ran through examples from general Social Media, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Networks, Linkedin, Skittles.com, and Alternate Reality Gaming.
Our team would like to give a shout out to Blake Mycoskie and his company Toms Shoes. We’ve worked with Blake in the past on several projects, and for the last three years he’s been spending his time starting a company founded in Argentina that for each pair of shoes sold, they give a pair to a needy child.

NASCAR:
Kyle dominated the O’Reilly 300 on Saturday leading 178 of 200 laps on . He became the first driver to win a Nationwide race at Texas from the pole and won a record third consecutive event in the series at the 1.5-mile intermediate speedway. Dale Jr also finished in 20th. In the Samsung 500 today Kyle finished in 18th, Dale Jr in 20th, and Martin in 25th.
Beckham:
David got his 109th international cap for England on Saturday during a 4-0 win over Slovakia. He picked up an assist in the 2nd Half on Wayne Rooney’s goal. He’ll be in action again on Wednesday night vs. Ukraine.
Duke Basketball:
Duke’s season ended last Thursday night in a 77-54 loss to #3 seed Villanova in the Sweet 16. They end up a 30-7. In off-court news, Seth Curry the NCAA’s leading freshman scorer (20.3ppg) will be transferring to Duke.
NASCAR:
Dale Jr. led the way at Martinsville today coming home in 8th place. Kyle finished in 24th and Martin in 29th. They’ll be racing at Texas next Sunday.

Duke Basketball:
Duke entered March Madness as the #2 seed in the East Bracket and moved into the Sweet 16 with wins over Binghamton 86-62, and Texas 74-69. They’ll take on the #3 seed Villanova on Thursday – March 26th.
NASCAR: Kyle started off the weekend by winning the Truck Series race at Atlanta on Saturday, and then on Sunday in the Sprint Cup race Martin finished in 10th, Dale Jr. in 11th, and Kyle in 18th. The guys will be off until March 22nd when they head to Bristol.
Duke: Duke finished the regular season at 25-6 after a loss today at North Carolina 79-71. They took second in the ACC with an 11-5 record.
Beckham: David’s reps reached an agreement for him to stay with AC Milan through the end of their season on May 31st, then return to the Galaxy on July 1st.
