DukeBluePlanet.com v3 Launches

Posted by Team UT on January 11th, 2013   Interactive, Sports Marketing, UnCommon News

Team UT has worked with the Duke Men’s Basketball Program for the past six years, and we’re proud to announce the launch of version three of their official website – www.DukeBluePlanet.com

In late 2007 when we launched the initial version of DukeBluePlanet.com it was one of the first dedicated websites by any program in college athletics, and it instantly raised the bar. Version two launched in the Fall of 2010 included a site re-skin, improved content, and one of the first true social media directories by any college or pro team.

This new version marksย a complete overhaul with an entirely new design and all new content. It encompasses every aspect of the Duke Program from Coaches, to Players, to Alumni, to Facilities, to Fans, to overall Program Philosophy.

With Duke Basketball recently reclaiming their rightful place at #1 in the polls, itโ€™s only fitting they should also have the best online presence of any college athletic program. The combination of unique design, depth of content, and social media integration (the site includes over 120 social media channel touch points) makes the site a true college athletics game changer in providing an online showcase for fans and recruits.

Team UT would like to specifically acknowledge Duke’s Recruiting and Communications Coordinator, Dave Bradley, as the engine behind the “Duke Blue Planet” brand. His proactive thinking behind this project has been vital to its success now and in the past.
