Team UT Wknd Sports Update

Jennie Finch:
On Tuesday Jennie pitched a perfect game in a 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Force. On Friday night she hit a two-run homer as the Bandits swept the Force to improve to 11-3.

NASCAR:
Kyle led the most laps at Milwaukee on Saturday night, but finished in 2nd place. On Sunday at Sonoma, Kyle finished in 22nd, Martin in 25th, and Dale Jr. in 26th. They’re off to Loudon for next wk’s races.

IndyCar:
Today at Iowa Speedway, Scott finished in 5th and Danica in 9th. They’ll be at Richmond under the lights next Saturday night.

Kyle won the Federated Auto Parts 300 on Saturday night in Nashville. Today at Pocono, Martin finished 18th, Kyle in 22nd, and Dale Jr. in 27th

IndyCar:
At Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday night, Scott finished in 3rd, Danica in 6th, and Sarah in 17th.

IRL:
 Scott picked up his 18th Indycar win, just one short of Sam Hornish Jr’s  record of 19. He also moves back to 1st in the overall standings. Danica picked up her 4th straight top-5 finish and moves to 4th in the standings.

Twitter: Athletes Should Use a Mark

Athletes are busy people – training, fulfilling sponsor requests, interviews, game time, etc., so it’s not surprising they don’t have to time to tweet all day and all night. It’s ok if the main personality doesn’t do all the posts, but don’t try and fool your audience when other people also post.
