Scott took the pole and the victory at Motegi, but more important he now leads the overall points with only one race left. Danica finished in 6th in her defense of her win last year.

NASCAR:
Kyle picked up his 5th Truck Series win of the season on Saturday. In the Cup race on Sunday, Kyle finished in 5th, Martin in 19th, and Dale Jr. got wrecked and finished in 35th.

David Beckham:
David scored a goal and had an assist in leading the Galaxy over Toronto FC 2-0 on Saturday.

Amanda Beard:
