The Chase started in New Hampshire yesterday and it started off good for Kyle leading early laps, but a broken sway bar and an accident cost him any chance at a good finish coming in 34th. He dropped from 1st to 7th in the overall standings. He would have dropped to the 12th, but the 80 bonus points he picked up for wins during the regular season helped him here.

Dale Jr. stayed in the top-5 early then went to the front and led 70+ laps during the middle of the race as the dominant car. A set a bad tires pushed him back in the top-10th before recovering for a 5th place finish. He remains in 4th place in the standings.

Martin had a good run coming in 7th, he moves up two spots to 15th in the standings. Next week they’ll race at Dover in the Camping World RV 400.
