NASCAR:
Kyle dominated the O’Reilly 300 on Saturday leading 178 of 200 laps on . He became the first driver to win a Nationwide race at Texas from the pole and won a record third consecutive event in the series at the 1.5-mile intermediate speedway. Dale Jr also finished in 20th. In the Samsung 500 today Kyle finished in 18th, Dale Jr in 20th, and Martin in 25th.

IRL:
Scott and Danica were both caught in accidents today at the IRL opener at St. Pete – Scott finished in 16th, and Danica in 19th.

Beckham:
David helped England defeat Ukraine 2-1 when in the 85th minute he hit a free kick in the front of the goal that Steven Gerrard touched onto John Terry who put in for leading goal.
