Had a chance to visit Augustana College in Rock Island, IL to be a guest lecturer for Mrs. Peterson’s BUSN 321-02 Marketing class to touch on interactive marketing and specifically topics in Social Media. Covered stats in SM, ran through examples from general Social Media, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Networks, Linkedin, Skittles.com, and Alternate Reality Gaming.

Also included an assignment for the students to get in groups and come up with a social media strategy for one of the athletes we work with – so should be interesting to see what they come up with by next week.
