Chase Update:
A rough day on the guys at Talladega in the Amp Energy 500. It started with big possibilities as Martin, Kyle, and Dale Jr. ran at or near the front early all leading laps, then Martin got caught in a wreck on lap 68 and would end up in 41st place.

Chase Update:
Dale Jr. finished in 13th, Kyle in 28th, and Martin in 43rd yesterday at Kansas. Dale Jr. moved up one spot to 8th, Kyle remained in 12th, and Martin dropped one to 16th. ESPN “Outside the Lines” has an interesting piece on 8-year-old Marquise Walker - who’s dad has implemented a YouTube marketing strategy in hopes to one day get him a college scholarship, and ultimately a place in the NBA. The concept isn’t entirely new, because you see videos of young children in sports posted by their parents all the time – one such scenario ending with a young soccer player getting picked up by a club team if i remember correctly.

A weekend to forget at Dover – Martin led the way with a 20th place finish, Dale Jr. had a blown tire and finished 3-laps down in 24th, and Kyle had engine problems and finished in 43rd. Dale Jr. dropped to 9th and Kyle to 12th in the Chase Standings. Next week the guys will be racing at Kansas Speedway…
