I ran into this video today and thought it was pretty cool. I was intrigued by this idea of the user being able to interact via webcam. User Interactions like this are just awesome and awe inspiring. It’s just amazing how they do this stuff.
“What appears to be little more than a black and white advertisement in three recent German automotive magazines becomes a 3D holographic model of the Mini Cabrio through a webcam and the Mini website. Sure, it still takes a good deal of effort on the user’s part (they have to go somewhere other than the main ad to really see the ad)…”
I stumbled upon these 40 very creative print ads today. My favorites are 4, 5, 17, 19, 20, 31, 33, 35, and 37 simply because of the creativity behind them. Even if you hate ads, you can’t help but love these; all with the help of a little program called Adobe Photoshop baby.

Seth Godin’s new book “Tribes” follows his previous titles template: no TOC, short (147 pages), and kind of all over the place. He acknowledges as much near the end by writing, “People might say that it’s too disorganized or not practical enough….” On to the takeaway – the book is about leadership, groups of people he calls “tribes”, and what they can do as one.

Much has been said in the press and on blogs about Gatorade’s recent brand relaunch under the “G” iteration, and their new commercial. Our interest is not to debate whether Gatorade has become Vitaminwater, or whether consumers get the “G” concept – rather we’re interested in the athlete endorsers that Gatorade features on their website and in the new commercial.

Every year we try to send a holiday greeting to our clients. In the past we’ve done personalized HTML emails, branded traditional cards, and even holiday music CD’s (Vol 1. is still my favorite).
